The School

After 60 years of creating a vibrant Catholic School Community, Bishop Kearney School was faced with decreasing enrollment and a shifting perspective on Catholic education in America.

They created a Hockey Academy/boarding school model turning their 3rd floor into dorms for 120 student-athletes who want to focus on hockey at the highest youth level.

In 2015, the Girls program began. The program consisted of a 16U and 19U team ranging from 8th graders to Seniors. Since then, the program has won the NYS State Championship 7x and are National Championship Finalists 5x.

Following the success of the Girls program, the school started a Boys program,4 years later. The Boys program has a 14U, 15O, 16U, and 18U team. In just 4 years, the Boys program has won 2 National Championships.

Program alumni include Laila Edwards, Christian Humphreys, KK Harvey, Chase Jette, and Haley Winn among dozens of Division I athletes, Olympians, and NHL Draft Picks.
