The Series
Set over the course of the 2024/2025 USA Hockey Tier I Hockey Season, HOME ICE: A Season with BK Selects follows the Girls 19U and the Boys 16U Hockey Teams of the school.
The series dives into how this program began, what makes it unique, and the possible stars of tomorrow that walk these halls unified under one common goal; Winning A National Championship.
This limited series gets an all-access pass to the lives and aspirations of these exceptional 15-18 year olds as they navigate the hurdles of being a teenager, chasing a dream, and advancing their education all while playing a 65 game season at the highest level.
2 Teams. 2 Outcomes.
The boys team has a season of ups and downs. From tying the #1 team in the country to finishing 5th in the NE Pack League. The boys enter the National Championship Tournament with some confidence after winning the NYS Tournament to secure an automatic bid.
The girls had a season of steady dominance entering the National Championship as the #1 seed with a record of 56-3 on the season with their only losses coming to U22 Canadian teams. Their historic 30-0 start to the season positioned them for glory as they pursue their first National Championship.
What ends up happening is the power of Documentary film on full display.
